Yup, that’s right, in 3 year old language, this word means how Pac’s hair is getting to be. Amazingly, though, he somehow manages to say the word ’short’ perfectly well. Go figure.

Babies are pretty amazing that’s what I have to say.  Patrick is on a pick on your little brother kick lately.  In the last two days he has bitten Sam twice (arm and hand for those specific family members with this kind of experience [Amy]), poked him in the eye at least 5 times, and pulled on his legs or arms (nearly making me drop Sam) about 15 times.   He has also stepped on Sam several times and rolled him over by his head, but only once.  All in two days.  Just thinking about all of this makes me tired.  I need a playpen with a Pac-proof lid.    Other than that Patrick really is a great older brother.  He tells Sam about the books he’s reading and shows him the pictures.  Patrick lets Sam hold his favorite cars even when he spits up on them, and Pac proudly interupts other people at grocery stores to tell them, “Hey!  We have a new baby!  Wanna see it?!”  After which Alma chimes in with, “Yeah, his name is Sam, he’s a boy, a boy baby.  And I’m Alma, A-L-M-A, Alma.  And this is my brother Pac-Attack!”  And then Pac says “It has a ‘P’ in it, and an ‘A’, just like Alma.  A-L-M-P, Pac.  But I changed it, I changed it to Pac-Attack.”  Ok, so maybe I did get a bit carried away with just the one conversation, but they have all said all of these things at least 8 times before.  And alot of times all together.  It is tough not to crack up every time they do, because, bless their little hearts, they are SO serious about it all!  Anyways, long week, more later.

I have moved my blog.  what do you think of the new address?

Here are a few of our little cuties enjoying a crisp fall day in our back yard. Cute, cute, cute! Unfortunately it was so crisp that the kids were freezing at the end of the last picture and we had to head in after a small snow flurry started up.

Some of our friends here gave us a whole kitchen garbage bag full of old Halloween costumes so the boys got to play with costumes all of Halloween day. They had a blast and here is a few pictures of their fun. (note: We already had the green alien super-hero and black alley-cat costumes in first photo.)

Well, we are up to November 2007 now and here is a shot of the beautiful coloring trees that we live by:2007-11-21-027Here is Pac being sad because he couldn’t get out of the car by the side of the road like Daddy did to take the picture of the trees (he is an adorable and passionate cryer, you really feel for him when you look at his sad face, even if it is a tantrum):

And here’s Pac a second later, perfectly happy again:

Here is Alma making his growly hands, yet still smiling:

Here Pac is confused as to why we are taking pictures of him instead of the leafs now (it’s because he was cuter):

Does anyone else see little future missionaries pausing at my door? I love the way they are both looking forward and standing right on the brink of the next step they’ll take. What they are looking at is something new and unknown, but they are not afraid, they are prepared and ready. They are mearly taking a pause before they continue on, full speed ahead.

Because with my boys, it always seems to be, full speed ahead.2007-11-21-025

Or should it be called: Portrait of a Modern Mother?
2007-11-21-021 This is me doing a million things at once. I particularly like the tornado-like look of Patrick whizzing by while I try to check my e-mails as a quick break.

The boys wanted to have a birthday party, but it wasn’t anybody’s actual birthday. So, we made some party hats and took some pictures:

Here Patrick is not wanting the share the little water push-button game we decided to play at our party:

Here Patrick is repentant for his meanness and offering to share again:

Here is the star of the show, Lamby, Pac’s favorite bedtime friend, with his hat:>

(the hat wouldn’t stay on his head, so of course, it is on his back)
